I bought a certified used Explorer from another dealership in 2021. Fast forward to April 2025, I took my SUV in for an oil change thru my personal mechanic at his shop. Had a very positive experience with Bob in new car sales. I had found a leftover '23 truck I was interested in on CarGurus. Bob took the time to call me, fill me in with details and actually get me a better price than my AZ plan that I was trying to use. I purchased out of state several hours away, Bob met us at the dealer on a Sunday to sign paperwork and deliver the truck to us once we were able to get in. Overall very positive experience with the dealer and staff.

In all my years of buying/leasing cars I can honestly say that my recent experience at Packey Webb Ford, specifically working with Mr. Ernie Mateo, stands out as one of the most remarkably positive. The whole process was forthcoming, transparent, and with zero sales pressure. Mr. Mateo, a true "gentle-man", was always available to answer my questions and to do his very best to close the deal. If you have a Ford product and need service, Packey Webb is a great place to go. The service team did everything they stated on time with high quality. However, I would not recommend buying a new Ford Explorer, or any Ford with LED lighting at this time. I have had a LED leadlight fail (only 50K miles) and the replacement is $2,000 and is NOT covered by my extended warranty. Packey Webb did their best to help, but Ford has handcuffed them.

I was very satisfied with my sales person and his commitment to delivering a quality product. The only downside was during the paperwork part, I felt like all of the cost for the extended warranty(s) were not disclosed. That would have allowed me to make a more informed decision.
