Serving Downers Grove, Illinois

Downers Grove is the home of Packey Webb Ford, and we’re located on the village’s legendary Ogden Avenue. Named for William B. Ogden, the first mayor of Chicago, this 37.5-mile street carries the lifeblood of DuPage County, connecting from Aurora to Westmont. Main Street is also a must if you’re in Downers Grove, offering the chance to meet your neighbors at one of our thriving local businesses.

Serving Carol Stream, Illinois

Carol Stream has one of the more interesting claims to fame in DuPage County: In 1954, a local farm was the site of the first NBC live telecast ever. Though the town’s namesake and matriarch passed in 2020, Carol Stream carries on her spirit by offering a friendly, inclusive place that’s great for raising families.

Serving Chicago, Illinois

Chicago isn’t just one of the most well-known cities in America — it’s a global destination. A week in Chicago wouldn’t be enough to truly grasp everything it has to offer, from world-class food to endless shopping to sites like Navy Pier and The Bean. And one thing we know about Chicagoans after serving the Windy City for so many years: They love Ford.

Serving Hodgkins, Illinois

The village of Hodgkins is quite small at just around 1,500 people, but we’ve met enough folks from there to know what a wonderful place it is. Hodgkins was originally known as Gary, which comes from the name Garibaldi due to the primarily Italian population in its early days. Today, the village is home to Lyons Township High School, which also serves communities like La Grange and McCook.

Serving Lombard, Illinois

Lombard, Illinois, is the home of Ellen A. Martin, an early suffragette who fought for women’s right to vote. In 1891, she demanded that she be allowed to cast a ballot and won the right from three male judges, becoming the first women in Illinois to vote. Because of this bold move and incredible victory, every April 6 in Lombard is Ellen Martin Day. Lombard is also home to the annual Lilac Festival and a wonderful farmers market.

Serving Naperville, Illinois

The suburb of Naperville is the home of the Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon, which lays claim to being one of the largest carillons in the world. There, you’ll also find the wonderful Edward Hospital, Naperville Historic District, and Naperville Riverwalk. And if you love movies and supporting local artists, be sure to check out the annual Naperville Independent Film Festival.

Serving Wheaton, Illinois

Wheaton is a quaint city that’s just outside the reach of the Windy City yet boasts a thriving, vibrant downtown district with a comparable energy. Wheaton is notable for having one of the narrowest stores in the Chicago region — The Little Popcorn Store on Front Street, which offers incredibly affordable candy in an alleyway between two larger buildings.

Serving Willowbrook, Illinois

This suburb of Chicago was incorporated in 1960 and boasts a modest population of less than 10,000. But Willowbrook is a wonderful place for raising families, and based on our customers who visit from there, home to many friendly people.

No matter where you’re from, Packey Webb Ford is here to serve you in DuPage County. Visit our showroom in Downers Grove, Illinois, or contact our team.
